Highschool Prom

Friday, April 8, 2011

In the United States and Canada, a prom, short for promenade, is a formal (black tie) dance, or gathering of high school students.

A lot of high school "last" lately.
Tomorrow night, Robert's last prom.
Tux - check.
Corsage - check.
Limo - check.
Dinner Reservations - check.
Memories - in the making.
Mom's million of photos - to follow.

  1. Oh, I still remember those days SO well! I haven't lived it through a mama's perspective, but it sounds like you're enjoying it from that side, too. Hope he had a ball!

  3. Oh yes, the prom. I did a post on that for my son in 2009. Can't believe it's been that long ago! Thank you for your very nice comments on my blog. It is very nice to meet you! The empty nest does take some getting used to. I think dreading it was the worse part, at least for me although I took the next year slowly adjusting. The loss of youthful energy was the hardest and we so looked forward to the spurts of it returning and the joy of filling the frig on their return. Enjoy your photo ops this weekend. It deserves a nice night out for you! :)
