This past Saturday was an awesome day
A migrant festival in a nearby community
An event to support migrant farm workers and their families
My husband through his restaurant connections
received over 1,000 pounds of meat donated
buns
chili
granola bars
cookies
drinks
Over 900 people were served
Moon Jumps for the kids
Free haircuts
Crafts
Face Painting
Free toys, clothes and shoes to every child (all donations)
DJ with live music and dancing
and the most beautiful weather..... thank you Jesus
and then rained on the way home!
God is so good.
These people were so appreciative, humble and beautiful
My husband also raffled a golf cart through his restaurants
all proceeds will benefit the
Migrant Educational Program
in this little community
that we plan to do so much more for
I fully support all the organizations that support
the less fortunate overseas
I donate to them myself
every.chance.I.get.
But I don't think people realize how people in our own backyards live
These migrant families, most with young children,
are the backbone of our agricultural business
they are poor, and have very little
and it's time we help those in need.
My cute husband on the right.
Is she adorable or what?
Ribs, ribs and more ribs.
Snowcone time!
The Beefmobile :)
My sweet husband and his Emmaus Brothers from Nativity
And the golf cart that was raffled off.
The winner donated it back
Steve sold it
so we doubled the proceeds of the raffle sales!
Again, God is so good!!!!

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Luke 6:38
