We had an awesome day celebrating my father and husband.

I love the men in my life.

Our Father, my father, and my Steve :)

Hope your men rock too.

Start Your Day Clean

Tuesday, June 5, 2012

So, about a month ago I read on Pinterest (shocker :)  ) that lemon water is good for you.
I started drinking a glass of water with fresh lemon and mint each morning
It is refreshing and something I look forward to.
Researching further on the lemon water,
I have found the following advise to pass on.

1.  It balances PH
2.  It is good for your skin.
3.  It kick starts your digestive system.
4.  It aids in weight loss.
5.  It controls the coffee habit.

Hope you like it :)

Breakfast Bake

Breakfast Bake

Wanted to share this recipe with you
I've seen it on Pinterest, but I simplified it to my own liking
If you are planning a Father's Day Brunch,
this is definitely a man's dish.

1 can of Grand's Biscuits
4 Eggs
3/4 Cup Cheddar Cheese
1 tube of turkey sausage (I used Publix brand and had quite a bit left)
Milk
Salt/Pepper

You could use bacon if you prefer.

Step 1 - Scramble the sausage and drain
Step 2 - Mix the eggs, and milk (just enough for scrambling)
Step 3 - Scramble the eggs - adding salt and pepper to taste
Step 3 - Put the biscuits in a muffin pan and form around the edges,
leaving the middle open (spray with Pam first)
Step 4 - Bake the biscuits for 6 minutes on 350 degrees
Step 5 - Take the biscuits out and add:
Sausage
Eggs
Cheese
Step 6 - Put the biscuits back in the oven and bake for approximately 6 to 8 more minutes
until golden brown and cheese is melted.

Serve warm!
Yummy
