I Want to Live Like That

                                   This weekend I attended a wonderful Women's Retreat

through my church

Emmaus Retreat

I can't say enough good about it

Even the food was good and I have to admit here,

I cheated, just a little

I didn't gain any weight but I didn't lose any on my weigh in this morning

still down 11 pounds

back on  #operationszipthosepants today

The weekend was amazing but I'm not sure

that I can even put into words

yet

So, I will just share this song with you

Death by Chocolate

Today was a sweet friend's 21st birthday

I love this girl like she's my own.

I baked her a cake to celebrate and it was a hit

I totally made it up and several people
 asked me for the recipe

so I thought maybe my blog friends would want it too

1 package of ready to bake chocolate chip
cookies (dairy section)

1 package of brownie mix (mixed just like the box calls for)

chocolate chips

chocolate syrup

chocolate frosting

I placed the cookies on the bottom of the baking dish

next sprinkled about a half of bag of chocolate chips

squirted chocolate syrup

next I mixed up the box brownie mix and poured on top

when it came out of the oven I frosted with a can of chocolate frosting and let it melt

serve warm with vanilla ice cream - soooo yummy.

NOTE:  I had one small bite because
I'm still in the middle of

Skinny Stuffed Pumpkin French Toast

Skinny Stuffed Pumpkin French Toast 

This was truly yummy!

2 slices of Pumpkin Spice Pepperidge Farm Bread

1 Egg white

1 tsp. fat free cream cheese

1 tsp. pumpkin (I used can pumpkin)

sprinkle of cinnamon sugar

splash of fat free milk

I mixed the cream cheese and pumpkin together

put it between the two slices of bread

whisked the egg white, milk and cinnamon sugar

soaked the bread with the cream cheese mixture in it -

  in the egg white

cooked in a frying pan until both sides were toasty

180 calories per serving and it is very filling.
